Ken is pretty much a nut when it comes to composting.
We have a large compost corral (no, "bin" just doesn't
do it justice) that is almost 200 cubic feet and has
three sections. After mice invaded, we started a
separate mouse-proof worm bin for kitchen waste.
The mice have left, no doubt in search of a home with something
to eat, but our compost bin is still home to many creatures, the coolest
of which is the grub of the green fig beetle. Click
